Terms of Use

These terms say what Condenso does and what it does not promise. The licence for the app itself is Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which reaches you through the App Store and applies alongside this page.
1.What Condenso does
Condenso compresses videos on your iPhone or iPad and writes a smaller copy back to your photo library. Everything happens on the device. The privacy policy covers what that means for your data.
2.Compression is lossy
Making a video smaller means throwing information away. The copy Condenso writes is not identical to your original, and how much you notice depends on the video and on the settings you pick. Condenso shows you the result before you keep it, so judge it there rather than after the fact.
3.Your originals
Keep both leaves your original exactly where it is. Replace saves the compressed copy and moves the original to Recently Deleted, where iOS keeps it for 30 days before removing it for good. Condenso never deletes anything permanently itself.
Keep your own backups of anything you cannot replace. That is true of any app that writes to your photo library, and it is true here.
4.The purchase
Your first three compressions are free. After that Condenso asks for a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Apple takes the payment and the App Store terms govern it. Family Sharing is included. Unlocking the app on your other devices runs through RevenueCat, as the privacy policy describes.
5.No warranty
Condenso is provided as it is. We do not promise that it suits a particular purpose, that a given video will get smaller, or that a size you have in mind can be reached. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage arising from using the app, including video files that are lost or altered.
6.What you may not do
The app, its design and its code are ours. Do not copy, change or distribute any part of it without written permission.
7.Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
